🔧 Common Issues & Solutions

📷 Camera or Microphone Not Working

If your camera or microphone isn't being detected:

  1. Check that your browser has permission to access camera/mic (look for the camera icon in your address bar)
  2. Make sure no other application is using your camera (like Zoom or Skype)
  3. Try refreshing the page
  4. Try a different browser (Chrome or Firefox work best)
  5. Check your computer's privacy settings to ensure browser access is allowed

🔇 Audio Echo or Feedback

To eliminate echo during calls:

  1. Use headphones (this is the #1 fix)
  2. Lower your speaker volume
  3. Move away from walls that might reflect sound
  4. Mute your microphone when not speaking

🐌 Video Quality Issues

If your video is laggy or low quality:

  1. Check your internet connection speed (we recommend at least 5 Mbps)
  2. Close other browser tabs and applications
  3. Move closer to your WiFi router or use a wired connection
  4. Lower video quality in settings if available
  5. Pause any downloads or streaming on your network

🔐 Can't Log In

If you're having trouble accessing your account:

  1. Double-check your email address for typos
  2. Try the "Forgot Password" option to reset your password
  3. Clear your browser cache and cookies
  4. Try logging in with a different browser
  5. Check your spam folder for verification emails

📧 Not Receiving Emails

If ChatSpheres emails aren't arriving:

  1. Check your spam/junk folder
  2. Add chatspheres.worldwide@mail.com to your contacts
  3. Check if your email provider is blocking emails
  4. Try using a different email address
