🔧 Common Issues & Solutions
📷 Camera or Microphone Not Working
If your camera or microphone isn't being detected:
- Check that your browser has permission to access camera/mic (look for the camera icon in your address bar)
- Make sure no other application is using your camera (like Zoom or Skype)
- Try refreshing the page
- Try a different browser (Chrome or Firefox work best)
- Check your computer's privacy settings to ensure browser access is allowed
🔇 Audio Echo or Feedback
To eliminate echo during calls:
- Use headphones (this is the #1 fix)
- Lower your speaker volume
- Move away from walls that might reflect sound
- Mute your microphone when not speaking
🐌 Video Quality Issues
If your video is laggy or low quality:
- Check your internet connection speed (we recommend at least 5 Mbps)
- Close other browser tabs and applications
- Move closer to your WiFi router or use a wired connection
- Lower video quality in settings if available
- Pause any downloads or streaming on your network
🔐 Can't Log In
If you're having trouble accessing your account:
- Double-check your email address for typos
- Try the "Forgot Password" option to reset your password
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Try logging in with a different browser
- Check your spam folder for verification emails
📧 Not Receiving Emails
If ChatSpheres emails aren't arriving:
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Add chatspheres.worldwide@mail.com to your contacts
- Check if your email provider is blocking emails
- Try using a different email address
